Environmental Tobacco Smoke not a good thing
Plus, if you remember from anti-smoking commercials, secondhand smoke is more deadly than first hand smoking. So, please respect our reasons by smoking where people will not get affected by the smoke. Overall, let us just say that I seen too many good people die from tobacco smoke and do not want to see anymore die from it.

'It is not fair putting our health in danger while they risk their own.' Exactly. But do most smokers understand this?
I suppose it's a bit like those inconsiderate car users who pollute the environment with fumes. Or those who pump all those chemicals into the environment by way of detergents and cleaning products. Then there are those people who don't consider the death hastening, environment damaging and war causing effects of a society that consumes so much energy in the quest to keep up with modern technologies... ahem.
Unfortunately, you will probably get every factory in this country to stop polluting, before you get smokers to stop smoking in open air. Pollution is pollution.
Agreed, but at least government is tackling the problem(in most cases) of factories polluting. Most smokers don't are at a luxury because they have a filter attached to their cigarette. For non smokers, we do not have this protection, which is why secondhand smoke is more deadly. My solution? BAN SMOKING IN PUBLIC. Many jurisdictions have already done this.
